Damian is valued for his professionalism, ability to work on several projects simultaneously, and for finding out-of-the-box solutions protecting the client’s interests.
He has more than ten years of experience in Polish and EU competition law, including antitrust, consumer protection, merger control, competition and consumer litigation. He has advised clients from the banking, insurance, automotive, chemical, real estate and telecommunication sectors.
His experience includes advising on merger filings to the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (OCCP) and the European Commission on the antitrust aspects of horizontal and vertical cooperation between entrepreneurs (e.g. in drafting leniency applications), as well as on the actions undertaken by dominant entities.
Damian conducts antitrust audits, internal investigations and trainings. He assists the entrepreneurs during the dawn raids conducted by the Polish competition authority. He represents the clients in the proceedings conducted by the President of the OCCP (explanatory, antitrust, as well as in cases of practices infringing collective consumer interests) and drafts appeals against the decisions of the President of the OCCP.
He held the compliance officer position in a company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
