Bankruptcy of the contractor

}
22 December 2025

This time we present potential actions that might be necessary to undertake after you learn that your contractor has been officially declared bankrupt. Under Polish law, a debtor is considered bankrupt if they are no longer able to pay their debts as they fall due. The official state of bankruptcy is declared by the court decision rendered after the review of the financial standing of the party. This includes the examination of their assets and credits against their liabilities. The bankruptcy proceedings are handled by a bankruptcy trustee being a court-appointed party supervised by the court.
